In May 2025, Chateau Rouge had the opportunity to appear on FOX 29 Philly for the second time, as part of their Behind The News segment.
During the interview, we spoke about our approach to Cameroonian cuisine, the importance of cooking with authenticity, and what it means to introduce these flavors to a wider Philadelphia audience. The conversation focused on our food, our inspiration, and the cultural roots behind the dishes we serve every day.
The FOX 29 team also spent time tasting our cuisine, including Ndolé, one of Cameroon’s most well-known traditional dishes. Sharing this experience on camera was a great way to show how our food looks, tastes, and is meant to be enjoyed.
This feature was another meaningful moment for us as we continue to grow and represent Cameroonian culture through food. We appreciate FOX 29 Philly for highlighting our restaurant and giving us the space to tell our story in our own words.
